These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the 1000islandsthrive.com website (the "Site") operated by 1000 Islands Thrive ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
1. Use of the Site
The Site is a local business directory for the 1000 Islands region. You may browse listings, submit business listings, submit events, and use the AI concierge feature. You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the Site.
2. Business listings
- Free listings: any business owner or authorized representative may submit a free listing. We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any listing at our discretion.
- Featured listings: paid upgraded listings are available on a subscription basis. Pricing and features are described on the Pricing page. Payment is processed by Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Accuracy: you represent that the information you submit is accurate and that you are authorized to submit it on behalf of the business.
- Claiming: claiming a listing is free and identifies you as the business owner. It does not create a paid relationship.
3. User content
By submitting content (listing details, event information, descriptions), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the Site. You retain ownership of your content. We do not claim ownership of your business information.
4. AI concierge
The Site includes an AI-powered concierge that helps visitors find businesses. The concierge uses information from published listings only. Its responses are informational and do not constitute recommendations or endorsements. We are not liable for decisions made based on concierge responses.
5. Intellectual property
The Site's design, code, branding, and original content are owned by 1000 Islands Thrive. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Site without our written permission, except for the content you submitted.
6. Third-party services
The Site uses third-party services including Cloudflare, Stripe, GoHighLevel, and Google Maps. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or content.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing information, including hours, pricing, or service descriptions provided by business owners.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 1000 Islands Thrive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top indicates the last revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
