Brockville's places to stay split into two groups, a short drive apart. Downtown, within a few blocks of the St. Lawrence, are the small ones: suites on King Street and Broad Street, two B&Bs in historic houses, and a waterfront resort-condo with a marina. Up by Highway 401, around the Stewart Boulevard exit, are the chain hotels, most with free breakfast and several with indoor pools. In summer you can also rent a college residence room or camp at St. Lawrence Park or on the city's own islands. Here is how they compare.
Which Brockville places to stay are closest to the waterfront?
The downtown properties are the ones you can walk from. Tall Ships Landing is on the river itself, Noble Suites on Broad Street says it is steps from the St. Lawrence, and Widow's Peak B&B says the waterfront is a five-minute walk. Everything else is a drive.

Where can you stay in downtown Brockville?
Downtown has five options, all small, all within walking distance of King Street's restaurants and the river. Pick these if you want to park once and walk everywhere.
- Noble Suites, 20 Broad Street. A restored Georgian stone residence from 1840, now individually themed suites with full kitchens and living areas. It sits on Broad Street, the street that runs down to Blockhouse Island.
- 48 King West, 48 King Street West. Deluxe suites right on the main street, with contactless check-in.
- Widow's Peak B&B, 12 Victoria Avenue. An 1881 Victorian home. Guest rooms are on the third floor with access to a turret and a seasonal sun deck, and there is no elevator, so expect three flights of stairs. Rooms have a bar fridge, coffee and tea, and light continental breakfast items. The owners live on site and have a dog; guests cannot bring pets.
- Sir Isaac Brock B&B Luxury Suites, 89 Church Street. Two suites, a Queen and a King, from $245 a night on the B&B's site. Full breakfast is served in the dining room or on the patio, and parking is free on site.
- Tall Ships Landing Coastal Resort, 15 St. Andrew Street. A waterfront condominium resort that rents vacation suites and guest rooms. Suites have full kitchens and balconies; guests get the indoor pool and fitness centre, and there is a full-service marina.
Which Brockville hotels are near Highway 401?
Five chain hotels sit near the 401 on the north side of the city, mostly around exit 696 (Highway 29 and Stewart Boulevard). Three are side by side on Kent Boulevard: the Comfort Inn (7777), Spark by Hilton (7789) and the Holiday Inn Express & Suites (7815). The Hampton Inn is on Crocker Crescent, north of the 401, and the SureStay by Best Western is on Stewart Boulevard. They are the right pick if you are passing through, arriving late off the highway, or here for the hospital or the business parks.
Brockville has three 401 exits: 687 (County Road 2, west of the city), 696 (Highway 29, Stewart Boulevard) and 698 (North Augusta Road).
Is there a hotel on the water in Brockville?
Tall Ships Landing Coastal Resort is the only place in this guide that is on the river itself, with its own marina. Noble Suites on Broad Street is a short walk up from the water. The St. Lawrence Park campground also sits on the river at the west end of the city, with a sandy beach. The chain hotels are all up by the 401.
Where should you stay in Brockville with kids?
Look at the hotels with pools. The Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Inn and Hampton Inn list indoor pools, and Tall Ships Landing lists an indoor pool for its guests. The Super 8 has a seasonal outdoor pool. In summer, St. Lawrence Park is the city campground with a supervised sandy beach. Widow's Peak is not a fit for small kids who cannot manage three flights of stairs.
Where should you stay for a couples weekend in Brockville?
Stay downtown so you can walk to dinner and the river. The two B&Bs, Widow's Peak and Sir Isaac Brock, are historic houses a few blocks from King Street. Noble Suites and 48 King West are suites right in the core. Tall Ships Landing puts you on the water.
Are there cheap places to stay in Brockville?
The cheapest beds are seasonal. St. Lawrence Park Campground charges $46.00 a night for an unserviced site and $53.50 for a powered site in 2026, with a $17.25 rate for self-supported cyclists. The St. Lawrence College residence rents double suites with private bathrooms from May through August. Among the hotels, none publish a fixed rate, so compare on their own sites for your dates.
Can you camp in Brockville?
Yes, in two places, both run by the city. St. Lawrence Park, at 525 King Street West, has serviced sites (15 amp and water) and unserviced sites from Victoria Day weekend to Labour Day, plus a dump station. The City of Brockville also owns islands in the 1000 Islands with campsites you reach by boat, canoe or kayak. Island sites must be booked online in advance (up to a week ahead), the maximum stay is 7 nights, and the 2026 island season opened May 15. Seasonal island sites go by lottery each spring.
When should you book a place to stay in Brockville?
Book early for summer weekends if you want downtown, since the downtown options are small: two B&Bs with a handful of rooms and a few suite buildings. The campground and college residence only run in summer. The chain hotels by the 401 have the most rooms and are the fallback on a busy weekend.
Can you rent an Airbnb in Brockville?
Yes, but you will pay the city's accommodation tax.
